Here’s a synchronistic book completed and published in early 2023. It is as good a telling on the earliest contact between the zionists and the land of Palestine. I am stunned by the level of mayhem that occurred by the militarized zionist against the British and eventually the Palestinians and those faithful Jews who did not assist in the creation of the zionist state. It will unlock the understanding of what has long been purposely hidden from the origins of the horrors we are witnessing today.

Yes, this is a great text for teaching the complex history of the conflict. Believe it or not, it was being taught to first-year American Reform rabbinical students during their year of Zionist indoctrination in Jerusalem as recently as February of 2024. But it was an older professor from the labor Zionist tradition. He has since retired.
You also might want to look at Elmer Berger’s travel diary, published as “One Who Knows Better Must Say So.” It’s an incredible source of documentation of some of these conversations and debates about Zionism very early on, and the jingoism overtaking otherwise rational Jewish minds long before the conflict became what it is today.
Understanding the role of Zionism is of ongoing importance toward understanding the why of the static and cruel collusion between Israel and western powers. The clarity and understanding in the letter is a valuable contribution. What was said then is true now. Thank you for sharing this!
